How You Got Into This Line Of Work:  “I spent a lot of time researching the body modification culture… reading, studying biology and anatomy, searching the internet and harassing Joan to teach me to pierce.  I got a job working the counter and was eventually promoted to manager. I apprenticed under Joan and have been piercing since 2002.”

Related Education:  Former Anthropology student at the University of Guelph and full-time science freak.

Interests and Hobbies:  Fitness, road tripping, cultural studies, business and researching.
